Abstract

an artificial Intelligent (AI) System requires a huge
computation power for searching processes, recognitions,
memorizing, or recalling. The configurable circuits in the FPGA
array are proceed in parallel under direct control from the AI
application program running in a processor of a host PC. Many
circuits for the brain processes are designed to evaluate a
feasibility of the FPGA array, and we also implement arithmetic
circuits to examine numerical computation performance. After
analyzing the results of the circuits for brain processes such as
voice recognition, voice synthesis and image recognition with
Self-Organizing Map, we roughly estimate gate count of the
circuits for the brain processes
