Indonesiahasaculturalvaluethatwomenmust
bemarried.Therefore,womenabove25yearsanddonot
yetshowsignsforgettingmarriedwillbethesociety’s
gossip.Toovercometheissues,parentsusuallyhelpfinda
mateforherdaughter,knownas"match"or"forced
marriages"regardlesssheiswillingornot.Ontheother
hand,womenwholookingforamatethroughadating
agencyarealsoconsideredasnotgood.Inthiscondition,
socialmediainIndonesiaisverywelcomed.The
developmentofinterpersonalrelationshipprocess
becomeseasierandfaster.
Throughconversationanalysistheresearchshows
thatthesocialmediachangesthewaywecommunicate
andbuildinterpersonalrelation.Italsochangesthe
charactersandthequalityofinterpersonalrelationships.
Inthecontextofinterculturalcommunication,symbolsof
communicationarestronglyboundbyanyculture,rather
thaninter-culturalrelationsbasedonconventionalmedia.
