Abstract

Developing an ethical work climate is important for
organizations. This study analyzed how organizational
justice influences salespersons’ perceptions of the degree
to which their work environment is ethical. Results
indicated that two aspects of organizational justice,
distributive and procedural justice, had a direct
relationship on salespersons’ perception of an ethical
work climate and their organizational commitment. An
ethical work climate was related to organizational
commitment and turnover intentions. The results indicate
that perceived fairness has an important influence on
salespersons’ perception of ethical work climate.
