Two Models of Survival Time in Leukemia with Concomitant Variable
Abstract
Using as initial point the model presented by Feigl
and Zelen in 1965 where they showed a linear relation between
Expected survival time and one of the covariant (White Blood Cell
count) they present the first approach to use statistical regression
analysis into measure the effect of fixed covariates on survival
rate. The biggest issue is this linear relation could bring some
times negative expected survival time. Then part of my project
intend to present a new improve model as well as the values of the
estimators using analytical solution and sample marginal
posterior density. Both results are consistent and similar which
suggest this model is good specified.
