An Exploration on the New Model of China’s Opening-Up Strategy

Abstract

Overseas Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (OETCZ) is a new model of China’s Opening-up Strategy. It establishes a platform for enterprises to invest abroad. The thesis probed into the functions of the OETCZ, such as changing product origins, avoiding trade barriers, transferring overcapacities and acquiring scarce resources. Furthermore, the paper puts forward the suggestions for promoting healthy development of the OETCZ.
