Attitudes of Senior Managers Towards Management Training and Development in Libyan Organizations
Abstract
An examination of attitudes of senior managers
towards Management Training and Development within Libyan
public sector organisations, and delineation of factors slowing
their MTD progress. Looking specifically at the oil and banking
sectors, considered the most representative of public sector
organisations in Libya, a survey was conducted across ten oil
organisations and seven commercial banks. The data collection
methods involved both face-to-face interviews (structured and
semi-structured) and a self-completion questionnaire.
