Water Soluble Materials based on Phtalocyanine and TetraPyridylPorphyrin Triple decker Lanthanide Complexe

Abstract

Symmetric triple-decker lanthanide complexes with tetrapyridylporphyrin and phtalocyanine ligands were prepared and characterized by UV/Vis., 1H NMR spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and mass spectra. Water soluble analog complexes were obtained in a high yield by methylation of TPyP in [Ln2 (TPyP)2 (Pc)] form.
